DC-9 sound package for use with Project Freeware's DC-9/MD-80 series and Paul Golding's MD-80 panel.

Sound package compiled by Mike Hambly Copyright @ 2000

I would suggest that this sound package is installed as follows:

Add a folder, snd.DC-9 to your FS2K aircraft folder so that it appears as *****FS2000/aircraft/snd.DC-9 and extract the contents of dc9fs2k.snd.zip to that folder.

For each DC-9/MD-80 that you wish to use the sounds, open the aircraft's sound folder and then the sound.cfg file inside it. Edit the sound.cfg to look like this;

[fltsim]
alias=snd.dc-9

and save.

You can then copy this sound.cfg file and paste it to each DC-9/MD-80 as required.

In the zip file you will find sound settings.jpg. This shows Mike Hambly's suggested FS2000 sound setting, though everyone has their own prefferences as too how loud certain things should be, so maybe start wth Mike's suggestion and play around with it afterwards to suit.
